| Off season Closed during the winter months, Charleston's walled garden remains a rich source for pictures whilst the gardener, Mark Divall, digs, cuts, prunes and prepares for the next season. Life - is a vineyard. At the heart of Breaky Bottom landscape, place, the people living there, and the business itself intertwine and become one. Harvest Harvest time at Breaky Bottom: for the owner Peter Hall, 2009 was the most wonderful harvest. Here is my experience of an event that offers more than just grape picking. Closer or looking closer does exactly that. A series of images that emphasise intriguing details in the rooms of Charleston farmhouse. Postcards from here to there. This is the second batch of images from my journeys up and down the A27 between Eastbourne and Lewes. This road, noisy and often too busy, cuts through a very rich and stimulating area. Summer Time to play, to take to the sea, to dress in white or simply sit on the beach. Here are some of my observations. Pictures of a Town.
